Pastor Zach Christians

Zach Christians came to East Troy Bible Church in 2015 and he serves as our Associate Pastor to Families with Youth. Zach was born and raised in eastern Iowa in the town of Duduque. He came to faith in Jesus Christ as a child through the faith of his parents and their efforts to be diligent in family devotions. It was through the ministry at Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, Wisconsin that Zach made Jesus the Lord of his life where he started to learn what it meant to live for Jesus and not be a Christian by name only. Which is funny given his last name…

Zach began in ministry during the summer of 2004 when he served as a camp counselor at Camp Redcloud in Lake City, Colorado. In 2005 he landed his first Youth Ministry position as a part-time Jr. High Pastor/Intern. From there Zach faithfully served full-time in churches ever since ranging from Texas, to Wisconsin, to Iowa, and then back to Wisconsin to East Troy Bible Church. Zach has a passion to see people come to faith in Jesus, especially students, and to see that relationship transform lives through authentic and intentional discipleship. Pastor Zach holds a Bachelor’s of Arts and Science (BAS) from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas as well as a Master’s in Transformational Leadership (MATL) from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Zach is married to his wife Rachel whom he met at Camp Redcloud the summer of 2004. They were married in 2007 and have two boys Graham and Elliott. As a family they love hiking and exploring new places live by the motto of living on adventure every day, even in the simple and small things. Zach is an avid fisherman and loves to spend time outdoors. He has a passion for Wisconsin sports, including the Green Bay Packers, hockey, and anything automotive. He loves the snow and cold which makes Wisconsin a great fit for him.
