At East Troy Bible Church we believe we are sinners called by Christ, redeemed by grace, and striving to fulfill His will in our lives.

Join us Sunday Morning at 9 am as we worship the one true God and study from His Word. All are welcome!

Panel 1

We are Called:

God is calling us to follow Him. Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.  All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”
John 6:35, 37

God Reaches Out to Us:

    • Through His Son, Jesus Christ
    • Through His Word (the Bible)
    • Through His Spirit
Panel 2

We are Rescued:

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” Acts 16:31

After receiving the Lord’s calling, we are prompted through Scripture to respond.

      • We understand that we have fallen short of God’s standard for our lives
      • We recognize that we are separated from Him.
      • We acknowledge that Jesus Christ died for our sin and rose from the dead
      • We call out to Jesus Christ to rescue us from God’s wrath and bring us into His family.

Being rescued requires two things:

Faith in Jesus Christ as God’s solution to our sinfulness and God’s gracious gift of rescue.

Panel 3

We are Discipled:

Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20

A fully formed Disciple of Jesus is committed to resembling Him and is constantly growing to be like Him in every way possible. The goal of discipleship is to grow and mature in order to help others grow to be like Jesus. Jesus expected this of all He called and rescued.

Three areas of growth take place in a maturing disciple:

      1. They grow in their KNOWLEDGE of Jesus – Theology
      2. They grow in their IDENTITY in Jesus – Renewal
      3. They grow in their IMITATION of Jesus – Lifestyle

A Fully Formed Follower of Jesus is a:

        • Learner
        • Follower
        • Teacher
Panel 4

We are Equipped:

Paul said, “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13

East Troy Bible Church desires that people begin to understand the work He has prepared for them and help to equip them to accomplish His purpose.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
